sIG 33, 1/35
kit came from Alan and is about a german heavy infantry gun, a sIG 33.
The kit is of moderate quality what meany you have to remove several
seams, and excess plastic from several items of the kit. Also the level
of detail isn't very high like common with other brands.
Built nearly OOTB I did some refinings only. Handles of the gun mount
and breech I have made of brass wire. The gun itself I have primed (Mr.
Surfacer 1000) and sanded several times to fill the gaps and dents.
Primed with Tamiyas "german grey" (XF-63) this model got several
washings using black/brownish mixture diluted with terpentine.
Drybrushing the common way. Some scratches and oil stains here and
there and that's it for this littly puppy.
